A great portrait shows so much more than simply how someone looks. My goal with every portrait or headshot I capture is to show what makes you and your personality unique.

I prefer photos that use natural light, whether that’s outdoors or next to a window.

If you prefer a more generic headshot, I’m happy to shoot on location with a backdrop and lighting or discuss studio options.

Your questions, answered.

What should I bring to the shoot?

I strive for no-sweat shoots! Whether you’ve done a bunch of photos in the past or this is your first set since your senior photos, I want you to feel as comfortable as possible during the shoot. When we schedule a time, I’ll talk with you about some location options. Wear clothes that feel appropriate for wherever you plan to use your photos. (I’m happy to give feedback on what you plan to wear if you want, too!) But that’s really it! I’ll take care of the rest.

Can we take photos in more than one outfit?

All packages except for Starter include the option to shoot in more than one outfit. If we’re shooting in a city, we can usually find a spot where you’ll be able to change pretty close to our shoot location. For more remote shoots, I’ll bring along a nifty pop-up changing tent where you can swap out your clothes in total privacy!

How long will it take to get my photos after the shoot?

I aim to have your photos back to you within a week after your shoot. If you need a faster turnaround time, consider adding on the Rush Processing add-on!
